never blot out his name from the Book of Life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels” (Revelation 3:5). This promise should be written on the heart of every believer! What about those who have not turned to Christ in repentance and faith, who have rejected Him as their Lord and Savior? Tragically, their names will not be found there, and they will enter eternity with no hope of Heaven. The Bible solemnly warns, “If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:15). For anyone reading this who has not given his or her life to Christ, it’s not too late! Now is the time to acknowledge your sin before God and accept His mer ciful love for you. Don’t turn away. Pray to Him for forgiveness and, by faith, receive Jesus Christ into your life. Then you will have assurance that your name has been written in the Book of Life which God Himself will open and read someday. Nothing will bring us greater joy than hearing the Savior call our names.
