Will we see people in Heaven we couldn’t get along with on earth?

W e’ll not only see them, but we’ll get along with them perfectly. In Heaven, the past will be for given; they will be perfect—and so will we! God’s forgiveness means the complete blotting out of the dirt and degradation of our past, present, and future . This is our hope in Christ—that we are made new through Him. That process begins when we surren der our lives to Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17)—and it will be perfected in Heaven. “You have come to . . . the city of the living God. . . . to the spirits of righteous men made perfect” (Hebrews 12:22–23). An unforgiving spirit holds a grudge against some one who has offended us. Some people just naturally rub us the wrong way, just as we rub some people the wrong way.
