Is the old quip true, that Christians are so heavenly minded they aren’t any earthly good?

N o, it isn’t true—because Christ has given us an earthly mission with a heavenly goal. The more seriously we take Heaven, the more seriously we’ll take our responsibilities on earth. Life is short; none of us knows how long we have. Live each day as if it were your last—for someday it will be. If you are ever going to live for Christ, it should be now. Every day is a gift from God, and it isn’t to be wasted or spent in selfish indulgence, but to be lived for Christ. There are so many professing Christians who walk hand in hand with the world making it difficult to distin guish between them and unbelievers.
