no longer subject to human needs. I believe He ate with them for two reasons: to prove His bodily resurrection and for fellowship with His disciples. When He was last with them, they fellowshipped around the table and shared the Passover meal. After all, what would a family reunion be without food? When the family of God assembles in His king dom, we will enjoy Heaven-blessed food with the Lamb! He will look into the souls gathered around the Lord’s Table, and His heart will be full. “People will come . . . and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God” (Luke 13:29). Before that day, however, don’t overlook every oppor tunity God gives you to “taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8).
