Many dying believers have testified that they heard the music of Heaven. The Bible says, “Your dead shall live . . . they shall arise. Awake and sing” (Isaiah 26:19 nkjv ). Imagine the disciples singing with Jesus in the Upper Room on that fateful last night before His crucifixion. Scripture says they “sung a hymn” and then went to the Mount of Olives (Matthew 26:30). Psalms is called the hymnbook of the Bible, and many scholars believe the Lord would have chosen Psalm 118, traditionally sung by the Jews at Passover. Perhaps the angels will stand back when the saints sing, “You have become my salvation” (Psalm 118:21) and then join with our voices
