Philippians 2 5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death even death on a cross! 2 Corinthians 7 14 In addition to our own encouragement, we were especially delighted to see how happy Titus was, because his spirit has been refreshed by all of you. I had boasted to him about you, and you have not embarrassed me. But just as everything we said to you was true, so our boasting about you to Titus has proved to be true as well.

Proverbs 3 34 He mocks proud mockers but gives grace to the humble.

Proverbs 15 33 The fear of the LORD teaches a man wisdom, and humility comes before honor.

Proverbs 22 4 Humility and the fear of the LORD bring wealth and honor and life.

Numbers 12 3 (Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth.)

Luke 18 14 "I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."

Matthew 18 4 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

James 4 6 But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."

1 Peter 5 6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
