Full Armor of God

Bad Habits

Galatians 5 19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Proverbs 17 20 A man of perverse heart does not prosper; he whose tongue is deceitful falls into trouble.

Proverbs 12 19 Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment. 20 There is deceit in the hearts of those who plot evil, but joy for those who promote peace. 21 No harm befalls the righteous, but the wicked have their fill of trouble. 22 The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in men who are truthful.

1 Peter 2 12 Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.

Psalm 119 11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

James 4 7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Philippians 2 14 Do everything without complaining or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe

2 Timothy 2 16 Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly.
