BUILDING BEYOND MEASURE

ROOF STYLES Steel buildings are the best option you have if you are looking for a structure to protect against the cold, rain, sun, and wind – even tornadoes and hurricanes. Steel carports are as good if not better than a traditional stick frame or concrete building for commercial, industrial, or residential use.

Vertical Style Roof Although we can’t deny our vertical structures look great, it is more than a matter of style. On a vertical building, the steel panels run from the peak downward making it easier to displace water and heavy snow. Our vertical structures include a ridge cap sealed with our black foam at the peak, vertical box-eave trim around the entire edge, and hat channel that runs along the roof making it the strongest roof style available. The A-Frame Vertical style is highly recommended for all buildings greater than 36 feet in length.

Horizontal Style Roof Symmetrical, Simple, and Modern! On an A-frame building, the steel panels run horizontally and the edges are finished with L-shape trims on the ends and box eave trims on the sides. Our A-Frame roof style is a favorite and is recommended for buildings no longer than 36 feet long.

Regular Style Roof The old fashioned way everyone finds charming! On a regular style building, the pre-manufactured bow is bent along the edge creating a traditional rounded shape structure. The steel panels run horizontally and the edges are finished with L-shape trims on the ends. This is the most economic design available and is recommended for buildings no longer than 36 feet long.
